Kids enjoyed a free filled day. They were able to get their faces painted for free and were seen walking briskly wearing Marilyn’s book characters: Shelly and Tiny. Bouncing castles were also free and more than enough were available for the children to have fun in. If that was not enough FREEdom for the children hear this: “each child was able to also receive free school supplies!”

It was August Monday, August 1st, when local Bahamian Author, Marilyn Laing released her first book entitled “Why the Turtle and Snail carry their houses on their backs?”  This was no ordinary book launch. Entertainment and activities were available for the whole family. Finger food and cool drinks were served by Cindy’s Roti Hut.
