10 Ways to use household items for garden use!

Here is a list of cost effective household items that can be used in gardens as: bug repellents, removal of mildew, promote growth, and more!

  1. Baking soda, (and potassium bicarbonate) prevents fungus spores from invading plants.
  2. Canola oil, use to smother insects
  3. Cinnamon powder, anti fungal and repels ants
  4. Epsom salts, provide a quick shot of magnesium and promotes growth of flowers and foliage
  5. Flour white, not self rising for sprinkling on plants plagued by grass hoppers
  6. Honey, to lure ants
  7. Rubbing alcohol, 70% solution, desiccates and destroys insects
  8. Liquid soap, (not detergent kills pest when sprayed on plants) always do a test spray first
  9. White Glue, seals small pruning cuts very good on roses. Works for people with small cuts to seal out

10. Aspirin, (uncoated) dissolved in water fights mildew, black spots and more.
