Miss Grand Bahama 2011-2012, Miss Keriann Stuart told Bahamian Illustrated about the transition into her role as Miss Grand Bahama. She was seen choosing her attire for the Rotary Club of Sunrise’s Rotary Cigar Nights event which was held at the Pelican Bay Hotel on Friday July 1st, 2011. Rotary’s event was a thoughtful fundraiser in aid of the The Big Brother Big Sister Program and The Safe Swim Zone Program. Miss Grand Bahama started her journey as a new queen on the right foot by supporting a good cause.

The Bazaar is not just Back- its booming!On Sunday, February 20th, The International Bazaar Associations along with Up With People, an International Group hosted an International Cultural Food Festival. People participated in activities held throughout the complex. It brought back the feeling of strolling through the Bazaar yesteryear!
The crowd enjoyed live performances from the Grand Bahama Youth Choir, Julian Collie & the New Wave Dancers, Legends Band, Sunland Baptist Bell Choir, Up with People, Xclusiv Crew, & more.

Food from participating countries was another highlight of the event. There were food, dessert and drinks from: Bahamas, Philippians, Haiti and Jamaica.
The associations thank the public for their continuous support and encourages the Grand Bahama community to look out for their next event.
